PTA

We are very fortunate at Little Waltham to have an active and supportive PTA, the Friends of Little Waltham Primary School. Any parent with a child at our school is a Friend. The Friends committee consists of those parents and carers who are willing to offer some of their own time to organise and support the various fundraising activities throughout the year. 

The Friends organise various events and activities to raise money to enrich the lives of pupils by providing facilities, equipment and activities not normally provided by the Local Authority.  In the past, the Friends have funded books for our classrooms and library, swimming lessons, coaches to school trips and playground equipment. 

The main fundraising event is the Summer Fête. However the Friends organise an exciting programme of varying activities such as discos, ice cream sales, inflatable days and a Christmas bazaar.  These events are great fun for all the family! 

Our PTA is always looking for additional members who can offer help in any way.  Please ask the Receptionist or Office Manager if you would like to help at a PTA event.

PTA Meetings

The Friends meetings take place approximately once per half-term and will be arranged throughout the year with details of upcoming meetings posted here. We aim to time these so that more parents are able to join.
